Jay Donald Canfield, 57, of Bridgeport, OH, formerly of New Martinsville, WV, died Sunday December 9th, 2018 at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital. He was born in Clarksburg, WV, March 5, 1961. Jay was an Army Veteran and a member of the 82nd Airborne Infantry Division. Preceded in death by his mother Helen Canfield, he is survived by his father, Denver Canfield, wife, Jeanne Canfield, daughter Valerie Delaware, grandson Connor Murphy, brother Bruce Canfield and sisters Cheryl (Roger) Hartline and Lisa (Mark) Richmond. Family and Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Saturday December 15th, 2018 from 2-6 PM, where full military service will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 6 pm at the funeral home. Private interment will be conducted at the convenience of the family at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Bridgeville, PA.
