Obituary for James Neal Shenefield James Neal Shenefield of Marion, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at age 80. He was born May 24, 1938 in Gallipolis, Ohio and was the son of Roy Franklin and Ida Mae (Hash) Shenefield. Ardith Louise (Montgomery) Shenefield married James May 15, 1959 and preceded him in death James was a Veteran and served in the Army Reserves from 1957-1963. James worked for Parker Hannifin for 34 years and owned Jim’s Sharp-All Shop. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Karla (Mike) Sturgeon of Sunbury, Rhea (Marty) Evans of Massillon, and Annett (John) Frazier of Marion; grandchildren Ray (Tiffany) Evans of Canton, Sylvia Evans of Canton, and Stephen Frazier of North Carolina; and great-grandchildren Noah, Addison, and Wyatt Evans and McKenzie Frazier and a sister Dorothy L. Iler of Marion. James was preceded in death by his parents and brothers William Robert, Roy Kenneth and sisters Hellen Russell and Norma Jean Shipley. James’ family will receive friends Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 3-6 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10 a.m at Boyd-Born Funeral Home with the burial at Caledonia Cemetery.
