Obituary for James M. Huntley James M. Huntley Sr. Age 77, was born August 25, 1941 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Lester E. and Viola (Spence) Huntley passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Corning Center with family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife 54 years, Dawn (Layman) Huntley; beloved children: daughter: Corene Huntley; son: James (Amy) Huntley Jr.; adored grandchildren: Patrick Ferreira; Zachary (Heather) Huntley and Ivy Huntley; great granddaughter: Penelope Williams; siblings: Alva (Shar) Huntley, Lawrence (Tim Decker) Huntley; special friend, Kathy Woo. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He was the past Chief of the Southport Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the American Legion Post # 443 Elmira. Jim loved the outdoors and his passion was to go bass fishing. At his request services will be held privately at the convenience of his family. He will be laid to rest in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans 434 Garrison Place Elmira, NY 14903. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of James M.
