James E. Colegrove of Newburgh, NY, a retired mechanic and a longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday December 7, 2018, in Newburgh. He was 69. The son of the late Marvin P and Esther Louise Hunt Colegrove, he was born October 27, 1949 in Elmira, NY . Survivors include his daughter Dana Herm and her husband, JD, son Devin Colegrove, daughter Alana Wartenberg, daughter Emma Colegrove; two grandsons: Anderson and Aidan; sister Valerie Ramsay and her husband Dean; brother Marvin H. Colegrove and his wife Linda J.; Emma’s mother Carol Colegrove, several nieces and nephews and his canine companion, Charlie. He was predeceased by his sister Lauren A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY.
