Obituary for Henry E. “Hank” Stone Henry E. Stone Sr., 76, a lifelong resident of South Scranton passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday December 27, 2018 at the Allied Hospice Center. His wife of 51 years is the former Mary Ann Lipnicki. Also surviving, two sons, Henry E. Stone Jr. and Brian S. Stone. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Marshal and Pauline Andreoni Stone. Educated in Scranton Catholic Schools, he proudly served in the United States Army Reserves. Prior to retirement he was employed by RCA and then Thompson Consumer Electronics for over 33 years. A devoted Husband and Father, Henry was a kind man with an outgoing personality and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Henry was an avid Penn State football fan and also loved trains and model railroading. Preceded in death by his brother Gregory, survived by his sister Marsha Dudek and a niece Kara Beauvais. Henry’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff and the volunteers at Allied Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care. Funeral services and interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions in Henry’s name can be made to Allied Hospice 500 Morgan Hwy., Scranton, PA 18508.
