Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 30 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. He was a retired truck driver and a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter, Susan Nelson of Henning; one son, Bubba Vanstory of Brighton; one brother, Dickie Vanstory of Ripley; one sister, Eva Fortner of Covington; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
