Geraldine Carbs Nellum was born on April 25, 1962, in Shaw, Mississippi, to Theo Cobbs and Pearline Morgan Carbs. She transitioned to eternity with her Lord on December 26, 2018, in Richardson, Texas, at age 56. Geraldine attended Richland College with a focus on Administration. She went on to work her way to management and enjoyed a career of over 25 years at Walmart. Among many hobbies, Geraldine enjoyed reading and listening to music. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping others. She was a member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church where she was active for many years under the leadership of Dr. R.E. Price, Sr. Geraldine was a sister to her friends and a mom to her nieces and nephews. Loving, kind, supportive, generous, and understanding, She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Georgia Carbs and Lavenue Carbs. Those left to cherish precious memories include her daughter, Angela R. Carbs; son, Darius Christopher Jenkins; granddaughter, A’Lissia Willis; siblings, Robert Carbs and Patricia Carbs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
