OBITUARY Georgia Ellen Barnett July 27, 1948 – December 28, 2018 Georgia Ellen Barnett, 70, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee passed away on December 27, 2018. She loved to read and spend time with family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Marion Thompson Woodward; daughter, Wendy Copeland; sisters, Vereda Woodward Tinkham, Marilyn Woodward and Pat Woodward Nail; brothers, Jake Woodward and Richard Woodward. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Joseph “Bud” Barnett; sons, Terry Beach and Dale Beach; step-children, Roy Barnett, Joseph Barnett, II, Max Ray Barnett and Melissa Hunter; son-in-law, James Copeland; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom and Frank Woodward; sisters, Janet Earring and Jackie Bernard; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1 pm from 5 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 12:30 pm at the funeral home with interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
