George Allen Williams December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook George Allen Williams, 59 of Columbus, OH passed away December 23, 2018, at his residence after several years with COPD. He was born in Columbus on June 8, 1959, to Joanne (Stewart) Williams and Norman Williams who preceded him in death. George was also preceded in death by a brother Mark, and grandparents. David Martin, his loving partner of 26 ½ years survives him and attended to him faithfully the last 10 years of his illness and life. We want to especially recognize the Martin family who was showing love, compassion, and help to our brother. He truly loved you all as his family! George is survived by immediate family; Brothers, Robert (Lori) Williams, Thomas Gump, and Sister; Joyce (Dean) Truman; Nieces; Brooke (Anthony) Teny, Sarah (Steven) Bogedain, Nicole Truman and Nephew; Timothy Cox, along with many other family members. He was baptized December 24, 1972 at the Columbus Baptist Temple, a graduate of Northland High School, and a Veteran of the Navy. George worked in the food Industry but one in particular was the Holiday Inn on the Lane until it closed. He loved serving his customers and they loved him back! If he was having a bad day, he never showed it and wanted to focus on making his customers feel special. A Celebration of Life will take place when a date is set.
