Obituary of Francis Quackenbush, Jr. Francis D. Quackenbush, Jr., 72, of Bloomville, passed away at AO Fox Hospital in Oneonta on Saturday, January 22, 2018. Born in Bloomville on March 2, 1946, the son of the late Francis D. and Evelyn (Hitt) Quackenbush, Sr. Francis worked in his earlier years with his father logging and also worked at a local farm and also did many other odd jobs. He was also an outdoorsman and liked being on the water. Besides his parents, He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and siblings: Ida Decker, Charlene Pickett and Lorraine Rosa. He is survived by his children: David, Daniel, Fritz and Debbie; his sisters: Vickie Phelps, Penny (Ray) Scofield and Patricia LaRocque all of Bloomville; several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
