Obituary for Frances Barbato Frances Barbato of Princes Bay passed away on Wednesday December 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at Staten Island University Hospital. Born in New York City to the late Frank and Frances Wilkie, Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and buying things for her children and grandchildren She had a soft spot in her heart for dogs, she was a true animal lover. She is survived by her devoted husband John, her loving sons Dominick and John Jr. her cherished grandchildren Dominick Jr. and Briana, her daughter in law Antoinette , her brother Victor Wilkie and her sister Dolores Cataldo. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday from 7 – 9p.m and on Friday from 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at the Church of the Holy Child.
