Obituary for Fernando R. Carozza Fernando R. Carozza, 51, died on December 6, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on August 1, 1967 in Yonkers, he was the son of Fernando and Diana (Furia) Carozza of Hopewell Junction. Fernando had been employed as a driver with FedEx in Newburgh for more than 20 years. Fernando had a zest for life and was up for any adventure. He performed with his brothers as a member of the Carozza Brothers Band. Fernando (aka Fern, Disco-Nando, Disco-Santa, Captain Raga Raga) loved family times with his son and his family, skiing, off roading in his Jeep, traveling, and any adventure that made life fun! In addition to his parents, Fernando is also survived by his son, Donato Carozza of Hopewell Junction; his brothers and their wives, Frank and Ana Carozza of Hopewell Junction, Artie and Christina Carozza of Hopewell Junction, and Danny and Diana Carozza of Caldeon, Canada; his nieces and nephews, Frankie, Anthony, Luca, Isabella, Gianmarco and Maria; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 12pm at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
