Obituary for Eric Lee Coleman Eric Lee Coleman, 63, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018. He was born on August 2, 1955 in Waverly, NY to Richard E. and Patricia A. (Shaw) Coleman. Eric was a resident of Port Charlotte for several years. Best known as “The Bike Doctor”, he had stalls at the former Dome flea market and most recently at the Sun Flea Market. Eric was a proud member of AA and his 30 years of sobriety with them. He also was a proud member of Mean and Clean, and when not fixing bicycles could be found riding his trike motorcycle around town and even across country. Fishing, adventuring, and fixing things were some of his favorite hobbies. Eric is survived by his two sons: Tommy Coleman of Winter Haven, FL and Jason Gosch of Tampa, FL.; two sisters: Collette Hendershot of Port Charlotte, FL and Linda Coleman of Tampa, FL.; his loving fiancée, Susan of Port Charlotte, FL. and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and foster children he helped raise. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lance Coleman. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at The Englewood Community Funeral Home, Inc. 3070 S. McCall Rd. Englewood, FL 34224.
