Obituary of Edward Higgins Edward A. Higgins of Freeport on December 14, 2018 at the age of 89. Ret’d. Capt. FDNY. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father of Maureen Cerami, Michael (Rose), Robert (Susan), Joseph (Jesse), Matthew (Marie), and the late Tim (Caren). Dear brother of Mickey and Ronnie. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Reposing at Hungerford & Clark Inc Funeral Home 110 Pine St. Freeport, N.Y. Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:30am at Our Holy Redeemer RC Church, Freeport. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Visiting Tuesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm.
