Beloved husband of the late Dianna; Loving father of Deborah (Michael) Gianakos of Acworth, GA; Edgar Morissette, III of Tinley Park, IL; Sharon Morissette of Tinley Park, IL; Mary (William) East of Mokena, IL; Daniel Morissette of San Francisco, CA; Step-Father of Daniel (Kathy) Clodfelter of Burr Ridge, IL; Cherished Grandfather of 11; Great-Grandfather of 3; Fond brother of Richard (Carol) Morissette. Edgar served in the Air Force during the Korean War; and was a retired Police Sargent serving the Chicago Heights Police Department and a former Kendall County Deputy Sheriff. He enjoyed oil painting and loved his dogs. In keeping with his wishes, funeral services and interment will be private. Contributions in Edgar’s memory to the Illinois Veterans Home, One Veterans Drive, Manteno, IL 60950, would be appreciated. Family and friends are encouraged to sign the online guest book and / or leave a condolence message.
