She was born April 3, 1926 in Killeen, TX the daughter of Guy Willis Reding and Clara Barton (Black) Reding. Dorothy was a life-long resident of Lampasas. She graduated High School here and later married Boyd Van Clary. She was devoted homemaker and caretaker of Mr. Clary and after his death her second husband J.R. Collins. Dorothy was a member of First Street Church of Christ. She worked quietly to meet the needs of her family, friends, the community and fellow church members. She is survived by her sons; Harrell Clary, Charles Clary (Linda), Boyd Clary (Sheila), Marilyn Clary Daughters; Kathy Hyatt (Gary), Sharleen Alderson Sister, Nelda Vann 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, by both husbands Boyd Van Clary and J.R.Collins and by 2 grandchildren and her brother. Memorial service will be Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at First Street Church of Christ. Visitation will begin at 10 am at the church building. Dorothy’s body will be cremated. Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice. Print Obituary
