Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy M. “Dot” Latham, 88, of South Kingstown, formerly of East Greenwich, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Latham. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Murray) Warren. Dot had worked for the East Greenwich School Dept., Amica Insurance, and Thorpes Pharmacy. She also volunteered her time for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She was a an active member of St. Peters By-the-Sea Episcopal Church and a former member of the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed Mahjong and traveling, and also loved the beach. She is survived by two children; Bruce Latham and his wife Marya and Cindy Lord and her husband Alan, all of South Kingstown; and was “Nonnie” to her beloved grandchildren, Julie Lord, Stephanie Lord, Jeffrey Lord and his wife Luciana, Alison Lord, Christopher Latham and Emily Latham. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild. She was the sister of the late Frank Warren and Robert Warren. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, 4-7 pm. A Requiem Eucharist will be held at 10 am Thursday, December 27, 2018 at St. Peters By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 72 Central Street, Narragansett. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904. Read More
