OBITUARY Dale Sanders August 21, 1949 – December 27, 2018 Dale Sanders, 69 of Columbia, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County and a member of Faithway Baptist Church. Dale worked as a contractor for 30 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mavis Dixon Sanders and his father, J. D. Sanders. Dale is survived by his wife of 53 years, Josephine Sanders; a daughter, Angela Singley and her husband David; a son, David Sanders; two sisters, Annette Wigley and her husband James and Burtie Bullock and her husband, Junior; a brother, Richard Sanders; five grandchildren, Brett Sanders, Derek Sanders, Alexis Seals, Courtney Montgomery and her husband, Jamie and Cameron Singley and his wife, Courtney and seven great-grandchildren, Emma Grace, Sawyer, Presley, Landen, Caiden, Ethen and Allayna. There will be a funeral service for Dale at 11:00am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia where friends may visit from 10:00am until service time.
