Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 for Christopher Jarome, 29, of Lisbon, who passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on December 28, 2018. Chris was born on August 5, 1989, in Newsport News, Virginia, the son of Phillip and Victoria (Gatta) Jarome. He was a 2007 graduate of David Anderson High School. Upon graduation he joined the United States Army. He was employed as a Correctional Officer at CoreCivic. Chris loved working on his ’07 Shelby Mustang and hanging out with his friends. Chris was very generous and his final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Chris is survived by his parents Phil and Vicki of Lisbon; his brother Jacob Jarome; his maternal grandmother Pauline Cervone; his paternal grandparents Phillip and Edith Jarome Sr; several aunts, uncles, and cousins and his loyal lifelong best friends Matt, Bryan, Darryl, and Antony. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. The funeral will held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Chris will be laid to rest at Kerr Cemetery, where military honors will take place.
