Obituary for Christine J. Mott (Johnson) Christine J. Mott Almond Christine J. Mott, 65, of Union St., passed away Friday (December 21, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, April 7, 1953, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Johnson, she had resided in Almond for the past several years. Chris was a member of the Almond Union of Churches. She had a great love for animals, especially her dogs. Chris enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing and being in the outdoors. She was predeceased by her parents, a son; Gary and her husband David Mott on Dec. 6, 2018. She is survived by 3 daughters; Donna Kay Cornelius of Oklahoma, Karrie Page of Iowa and Kathy (John Conklin) Hughes of Alfred Station, 2 step sons; Donald (Janet) Mott of Nashville and Robert (Marde) Mott of Virginia, 2 step daughters; Anne (John) Mattie of Colorado and Wendy (Richard) Curulla of Virginia as well as 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchild and 6 step-grandchildren.
