Obituary of Charles Soper Charles R. Soper, age 74, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home. Charles was born March 25, 1944 in Joplin, Missouri. He was the son of Kenneth and Mary (Elam) Soper. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a Master Electrician. Charles enjoyed traveling as often as he could and playing cards with family and friends. He loved being around people and never met a stranger. Charles is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; sons Mark Buller Lawrence and Scott Soper and wife Michelle; daughter Michelle Hamilton and husband Jim; step sons Robert Lewis and wife Virginia, David Lewis and wife Tracy, Jeff Corning and wife Candida; step daughter R. Joleen Hergenrader and husband Ken; nine grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and fourteen step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Mary Soper. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Senior Activity Center at the Lake, 748 Highway D, Lake Ozark, Missouri. Inurnment will be at Lake Memorial Gardens Veteran Wall, Osage Beach, Missouri.
