Obituary for Carmine M. Desiato (Umbrino) Desiato, Carmine M. (Umbrino) Gates: Surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at age 87. Predeceased by her husband, Patsy Desiato; brothers, Vincent and Raymond (Emma) Umbrino; brothers-in-law, Raymond Uttaro, Charles LaRocca and Nick Desiato. She is survived by her sons, David Desiato, Mark (Francine) Desiato, Patrick (Mary) Desiato; grandchildren, Brittany and Patricia Desiato, Patrick (Katie) and Joseph Desiato; great granddaughter, Molly; sisters, Celia Uttaro and Rose LaRocca; sister-in-law, Concetta Desiato (Gerry Pellegrino); special nieces, Diane (John) Appleman and Roseann Caiola; many nieces, nephews and friends. Carmine co-owned and operated Desiato Bakery with her husband, Patsy for many years. No prior calling. On Saturday morning, November 10, all are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 in St. Jude’s Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
