Obituary of Brenda Sampsell Brenda J. Scranton-Sampsell Brenda J. Scranton-Sampsell, 47, of Bradford, NY passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Schuyler Hospital. She was born in Corning, NY on September 26, 1971, the daughter of the late Clifford J. and the late June M. (Button) Scranton. She married Barry Sampsell on July 31, 1999 in Monterey, NY. Brenda is survived by husband, Barry Sampsell of Bradford, NY; children: Erica (Nicholas) Wilson of Galway, NY, Ryan Scranton of Avon, NY, Brian (Julene) Wilson of Corning, NY, Andrea Wilson of Bath, NY; grandchildren: Derek and Dovelyn Wilson; sisters: Cathy Hodder of Westfield, PA, Dale Ann Mullaney of Monterey, NY, Christine Miller of Monterey, NY, Connie (Randy) McDonald of Monterey, NY; her loving dog, Tiffany; and several nieces and nephews. It was Brenda’s wish that there be no services. Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
