OBITUARY Bobby Grey Smith April 10, 1950 – November 11, 2018 Sylvania – Bobby Grey Smith, age 68, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, GA. He was born in Screven County to the late Emory and Marjorie Lee Thompson Smith. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He also was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran but will be mostly remembered for being a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother: Emory Morel Smith. Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Jennifer & Chuck Berry of Sylvania; Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Michael & Missy Smith and Bobby Lee & Stephanie Smith, all of Sylvania; Sisters and Brothers-in-Law: Kitty & Mickey Newton and Sue & Billy Weaver, all of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Hannah Godbee, Haley Godbee, Harley Berry, Wyatt Smith, Leigh Anna Smith, Greyson Smith, Emmalyn Smith and Abagail Smith; Several Nieces and Nephews. Graveside Services: Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 4:00 P.M. in the Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Bill Kent officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
