Bette Larrie Bills 1925 2018

Obituary of Bette Bills Bette “Larrie” Bills passed away in Lake Havasu City at the age of 93 on December 11, 2018. She was born in Deluth, Minnesota on September 20, 1925. Larrie was a “Cali-Girl”, having left Minnesota and moving to California at a young age. She worked at Orlando’s Restaurant in Pomona, CA for over 20 years and then worked as a cafeteria dietician for the Ontario/Montclair School District. She moved to Lake Havasu with her daughter Cindi and son-in-law Dave in January of 2018. She loved family get-togethers and treasured her friends in California so much. She enjoyed playing bunco and bingo with them. She enjoyed getting her hair and nails done and her coffee and cookies every morning. She liked reading, gardening, seek-n-find word books, and in her younger years, needlepoint, and art. She was excellent at drawing and painting. Larrie was a strong, opinionated, and independent woman. She was an animal lover as well. Larrie is preceded in death by her husband; Virgil Bills, parents; Guy and Sarah Strathman, and her first grandson; Shane Burch. She is survived by her daughters; Cindi (David) Brutsman and Debbi (Bob) Tommer, grandchildren; Elyssa, Cathy,Lizzy, Bernie, Adam, Brianne, and Travis, and great-grandchild; Raegan. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Bellevue Mausoleum of Ontario, California on Tuesday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
