Obituary of Barbara Frasca Barbara M. Frasca Canandaigua – Barbara Frasca, 92, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center surrounded by family. Barbara was born in Pine City, NY on April 30, 1929 to Clarence (Jack) & Celia Carey. In 1945 she married John Frasca Sr. and began raising a family. As a family they would spend weekends on the family boat. Barbara loved to travel to Florida and together with John, they had many wonderful trips. She spent her younger years as a homemaker. In Barbara’s later years she enjoyed watching the Judge and cooking shows on TV and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her three devoted children and daughter-in-law, Linda Richardson, John (Linda) Frasca, Kathy Schlossnagle, her brother Wells Carey, and by her seven grandkids who were very special in her life, Peter, Jim, Mark, Jessica (Cesar), Nichole (Adam), Danielle (Matthew), and Tami. In her later years, they provided her with the gift of loving great-grandchildren Wyatt, Emily, Mikayla, Alexis, Max, Ayden, Paige and Maddi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews. She is predeceased by her loving husband, John Frasca Sr., her parents Clarence and Celia (Burns) Carey, her brothers RichardCarey and John Carey, grandson John Frasca, granddaughter Kimberly Frasca, her son in-law Charles Schlossnagle. A private family service will be held on Thursday, December 27th at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association in Barbara’s memory.
