Barbara Mae Frankfurth 2018

Barbara Mae Frankfurth July 22, 1934 – December 23, 2018 Barbara Mae Frankfurth was born in Dempster, SD July 22, 1934 and passed away December 23rd, 2018 due to copd and dimentia. Barbara and her family moved to Dupree, SD in 1943 and graduated Dupree High School in 1952. She entered the U.S. Marines in 1957. After discharge in 1960 she lived in Rapid City and later resided in Sioux Falls for the remainder of her life. Barbara was an accountant by trade and a long time member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, softball, fishing, playing cards and loved animals. After retirement she was a volunteer worker for Meals on Wheels. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mayme Frankfurth, sisters, Erma ( Mrs. Tom Rena) and Lois (Mrs. Creig Lingle) and brother Eugene (Sonny) Frankfurth. She is survived by sisters, Edna Bieber of Douglas, Wyoming and Linda Walker of Kansas City, Missouri, Linda’s companion of 6 years, Herb Hanss, brother-in-law, Creig Lingle, sister-in-law, Patricia Frankfurth, many nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends including Betts Gorter and special cousin, Marjorie Donovan, who were there for Barb at the end of her life. Born: July 22, 1934 Death: December 23, 2018 Barb requested no services and asked that all celebrate her life in her memory.
