Arthur made his journey to the Spirit World on November 17, 2018 at the Hot Springs V.A. Hospital in Hot Springs, SD. Arthur is survived by his wife, Verine Lafferty of Kyle, SD; sister, Delores Hammond of Vale, OR; son, Duane Lafferty of Kyle, SD; grandchildren, Denton Fast Whirlwind of Kyle, SD and Cody Lafferty of Albuquerque, NM; and great granddaughter, Nina LaFontaine of Albuquerque, NM. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Lafferty and Mary Richards; and son, Delbert Lafferty.
