OBITUARY Anna L. Politano Passed away on December 15, 2018 Anna L. Politano, 88, of Norwich passed away Saturday evening, December 15, 2018, at her home. Anna was born on December 23, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Joseph and Lillian (Bell) Blackwell. She attended Bay Ridge High School and in 1955 married Carmine Politano. While living in the New York City area, Anna had worked for many years at the Chase Manhattan Bank in the Foreign Exchange Dept. In later years she and her husband moved to Delhi and in 2003 moved to Norwich. While making her home in Norwich she and her husband were communicants of St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church. Anna is survived by her husband Carmine of Norwich, her son Joseph Politano and wife Catherine of Afton and her grandchildren Fina-Ann Imbrenda-Politano, Caterina Politano, Josephine Politano and Victoria Davis. Anna was predeceased by her sister Eleanor. A funeral service for Anna will be held on Wednesday, December 26, at Noon from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph A. Bove will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-12.
