Obituary for Alvin E. “Bud” Hann Alvin E. “Bud” Hann, 90 of Scottdale died Friday December 21, 2018 in JoElla’s Personal Care Home, Scottdale. He was born August 13, 1928 in Masontown, a son of the late Albert and Anna Mae Benford Hann. Alvin was retired from the US Steel Homestead Works. He was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the McDonald’s “Coffee Club” where he met with his friends on a regular basis. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Everson. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Bryner of Connellsville and Lisa Hetrick and her husband Denny of Scottdale; his grandchildren, Lynn Hann, Justin Hann and his wife Bonnie, Natasha Shawley and her husband Troy, Jade Govern and her husband Allen and Gabriella Burns and her husband Brent; his great grandchildren, Tyler Kimmel and his wife Connie, Megan Kimmel, Lexis Shawley, Ethan Shawley, Anthony Govern, Jacob Govern, Kendyl Grace govern, Isabella Lyle and Anthony Mongiovi; one brother, Donald Hann of Connellsville and two sisters, Lois Landy of Greensburg and Karen Basinger of Normalville. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Grace V. Baughman Hann; s son, Bobby Hann; two sons-in-law, Arthur Bryner and Daniel Jordan; brothers, James, Curt and Harold Hann and sisters, Geraldine Pascarti, Evagene Hodgkiss and Roberta Kerns. Friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday in the Brooks funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M with Tim Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville. Military Honors will be accorded by the Connellsville American Legion and VFW Honor Guard.
