Obituary for Aleta Joy Hummel-Scheidt Aleta Joy Hummel-Scheidt, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 15, 2018 at 5:00 PM after a long battle with cancer. This beautiful soul was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was loved by all who had the opportunity of knowing her. She will be missed more than words could ever describe. She is survived by her husband Walter G Scheidt, daughter Lisa Leigh Scheidt (Dr Frederick Klepes) son Greg (Tammy)Scheidt, grandson Garret William Scheidt and three brothers, Craig (Besima) Hummel, Gary (Gina) Hummel, Dean (Sheila) Hummel and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Chapel at Hope Hospice Lehigh, 1201 Wings Way, Lehigh Acres Florida, 33936 on January 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
