William Harold Burchett Jr November 16 2018

William Harold Burchett Jr., 65 William Harold Burchett Jr., 65 of West Portsmouth went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. He was born May 22, 1953 in Portsmouth to the late William Harold and Jean Ratliff Burchett. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Douglas Burchett and a sister; Loretta Lori Halcomb. He was a 1971 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and attended Shawnee State University. He was the Director of Linen Services at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus. He attended Rehoboth Mission Church and Lombardsville Community Church. He was a United States Air Force and Navy Veteran. William is survived by his wife; Rosemary Murphy Burchett who he married November 11, 1971, 2 daughters; Sandra Elaine (David) Ellis and Stacey Elizabeth (JD) Stevens, 5 grandchildren; Christian, Emily, Lacey, Anna and Gabe, 2 brothers; Steven Burchett and Jason (Judy) Burchett, and his K9 son “King.” Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Dave Lute and JD Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with military graveside rites by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
