Born on June 7, 1953 in Bronx, New York, William was a dedicated Marine Biologist for 43 years with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Beloved son of the late George and Greta Hastbacka. Loving brother of Robert and his wife Janet. Cherished uncle of Travis and his wife Genevieve. Adoring great uncle of Ellis. A memorial visitation for William will be held Monday, November 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.
