Obituary for Thomas G Pitts Thomas G. Pitts, age 88, of Adairville, KY, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 1pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Junior England officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwoods Cemetery with Larry Pitts, Eugene Pitts, Jimmy Pitts, Ronald Pitts, Kyle Pitts and Joel Pitts serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 4-8pm and on Tuesday from 11am until hour of service at 1pm. Mr. Pitts was born September 25, 1930 in Adairville, KY to the late Wade Albert and Minnie Allen Pitts. He served in the Army and worked at Odoms Sausage and was a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Sircy Pitts; brother, Wade Pitts Jr.; and sisters, Annie Pirtle, Alberta Sanders and Christine Hankins. She is survived by her son, Thomas S. Pitts and wife Jennifer of Adairville; daughter, Connie Traughber and husband Allin of Springfield; brother, David Pitts and wife Shirley of Adairville; grandchildren, Kyle Pitts, Joel Pitts, Courtney Pitts, Ashlee (Thomas) Towns, Brittany Traughber; and great-grandchildren, Remington Traughber, Kinsley Towns and Raelyn Towns.
