OBITUARY Terrell Lee McConnell June 16, 1929 – November 23, 2018 Terrell McConnell, 89, of Holden, Mo. died peacefully on November 23, 2018. He was born on June 16, 1929 in the little town of Longton, Kansas. Terrell was the oldest of five children of John and Belma McConnell. His brothers Darrell Fredrich and Melvin Richard McConnell preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sisters Helen and Maeda Ann. Terrell was also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Mary Lee McConnell. Terrell was an accomplished bowler, an avid golfer, a renowned square dance caller, and a devote Christian. He and Mary Lee lived for many years near Warsaw, Mo. where they loved to spend time on Truman Lake and were very active in the Methodist Church as well as dedicated volunteers in their community. Terrell is survived by two step sons, Kenneth and Bruce Mayer as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
