OBITUARY Sonya Louellen Shirley February 15, 1973 – November 10, 2018 Sonya Louellen Gravley Shirley, 45, of Liberty, SC, passed away on Friday November 9, 2018, at her home. Born on February 15, 1973, in Pickens County, she was the daughter of Gene and Carol Dewees of Easley, SC. Sonya was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Liberty. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her family. She is also survived by her children, Corey Owens and Makynsi Owens of Easley; a special nephew Tristan Burell; a special aunt, Gail Taylor and two special uncles, Billy Rowland and Bobby Rowland. Sonya was predeceased by her brother, Joey Gravley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, with burial to follow at Grace Baptist Church in Liberty. The family will be at the home of the mother, Carol Dewees.
