Shawn D. Woods Sr., 51 YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be held November 26, 2018, 6:00pm, at the Conley & VandenBerg Funeral Home for Shawn D. Woods, 51, who, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. Shawn was born July 5, 1967 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Thomas L Woods Sr. and Sally M. (Lewis) Woods. He graduated from South High School and attended Penn Ohio and YSU. Shawn was very family oriented and loved his children very much. He was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Julius Joy, Shawn Woods Jr. and Sedric Woods; daughter, Jasmine Joy; brother, Thomas Woods Jr; sister, Elizabeth Thomas (Anthony); nieces, Brittany (Jerome) Turner, who he reared, Shanequa Woods and a nephew, Glenn Woods he also helped rear. His life long companion Ms. Shawn Roland. Shawn is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Crystal Woods and Kimberly Woods. Family and friends may call one hour prior to service at the Conley & Vandenberg Funeral Home, 75 E Midlothian Blvd. Youngstown, Ohio 44507. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Directors at the Conley and Vanden Berg Funeral Home.
