Ronald Dewayne Harwell, age 69 of Cornersville, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Harwell was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee born August 15, 1949 son of Robert Earl and Mary Frances Doggett Harwell. He was a co-owner of M&W Trucking and later he was a mechanic for Marshall County Highway Department. He was a member of the Marshall County Old Car Club and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife of forty-five years; Jaxie Diane Barker Harwell of Cornersville, daughter; Shannon Caneer of Cornersville, son; Roger Harwell of Cornersville, two brothers; Billy (Judy) Harwell and Larry (Beth) Harwell both of Lewisburg, six grandchildren; Chelsea (Matt) Owens, Cody, Alexia, Cadance, Cameron, and Dominic, four great grandchildren; Zoey, Wyatt, Charlotte, and Tate. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella. The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m until the funeral hour for visitation. Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
