Richard was a skilled excavator and backhoe operator who proudly served the Willamette Valley for over thirty years. He worked for Strauss Excavating out of Hillsboro, Oregon and was highly regarded and considered one of the finest in his trade. He remained in his trade throughout much of his treatment.
