Obituary of Paul Burns Paul J. Burns, age 88, of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on November 21, 2018 at Gino Merli Veteran’s Center in Scranton, PA. Born in Mahoney City, PA, Paul was raised in Darby, PA. He was a longtime resident of Edison, NJ and recently a resident of Glen Mills, PA. A veteran, Paul served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from Revlon Inc. after 32 years as a Fork Lift operator. Paul was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church, the Del Vets and the American Legion in Aston, PA. He enjoyed golfing and was a die hard New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. In addition to his mother, Mary Joyce and his father and stepmother who raised him, John F. and Margaret Burns, Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret D’Amore. He is survived by his son, John Paul Burns and his wife Cassie, a daughter, Terrie Way, 2 grandchildren, Aidan and Aria Burns and 2 sisters, Kathleen Niblo and Ann McCormick. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, 9:30-10:30AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30AM.
