Nancy DeGennaro (nee Rotella), 97, on November 26, 2018 of Allendale, formerly of Palisades Park and Hoboken. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. DeGennaro. Loving mother of Dr. Michael DeGennaro and wife Susan. Cherished grandmother of Christopher. Dear sister of the late Frances, Pasquale, Tom and Sam. Nancy attended Dickinson High School in Jersey City. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from NYU. She attended Juilliard School of Music where she learned to sing Opera. She worked for W.H. Wise Publishing Company in Manhattan, NY and then was a bookkeeper for Superior Lingerie Inc. in North Bergen, NJ. Nancy was a loving mother who enjoyed music, mathematics and the company of her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10 AM at Guardian Angel RC Church in Allendale. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org or VNA of Englewood Hospice, 15 Engle Street, Englewood, NJ 07631.
