Obituary for Myles Collins Myles Collins, 90, of Rutherford, formerly of Jersey City, passed away Thursday, October 30th, 2018. He was born in New York City, NY in 1928. As a young man, he proudly entered into the United States Army during the Korean War. Myles was an accomplished and well known freelance artist in Rutherford. He worked with plaster, as well as oil paintings and cartoons. He created the Christmas Angels for Rockefeller Center, displays for Macy’s, the Liberty Bell in Union City located in the Park (40 yrs ago) and held lectures at 107 Bowers Gallery. Myles is survived by his siblings Elizabeth Wilson predeceased by her husband Edwin, William Collins, predeceased by Fergus Collins and Noel Collins. He will be missed by his nephew Scott Wilson, niece Debra Nochimson and husband Scott, great step-nephews Jonathan and Jordan. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
