Obituary of Michael Karlak Michael G. Karlak of Lockport, NY entered into eternal rest at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport Tuesday, November 27, 2018. He was born Saturday, April 13, 1946 to the late Peter and Catherine (Grendyza) Karlak. Michael graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1965 then went in the United States Air Force serving his country from 1965 through 1969. He also worked for Harrison Radiator, Division of General Motors in Lockport retiring in 1998 after working 32 years, 4 months. Mike enjoyed downhill skiing, knitting, crocheting, going on small trips, and going to the casino with friends. Michael was the husband of his late wife, Sandra R. (Thompson) Karlak, who passed away Monday, Monday, January 11, 2016. Surviving Michael is one brother, Leon P. Karlak, Sr.; his best friends Harry L. ‘Butch’ Heaton and Paul R. Harrer and his wife Kelly, and their two little girls Delilah and Zoe; and his furry companion Hailey Marie. There will be no prior visitation. Mike’s body will be cremated and buried in the same cemetery as his late wife Sandy. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
