Margaret T Peggy Speers 1932 2018

Obituary of Margaret Speers Margaret T. “Peggy” Speers, age 86, of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully on November 17, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. A resident of the Fox Hill Farms Community since the early 2000’s, Peggy previously resided in Upper Darby, PA and Medford, NJ. In addition to raising her family and caring for her home, Peggy enjoyed traveling the world. She also was a member of New Comers & Neighbors, an organization welcoming new neighbors. Peggy volunteered at Riddle Hospital, Longwood Gardens, and Paws for People with her beloved dog, Brittany Speers. In addition to her father, Joseph Roy and mother, Ethel Quigley Haines, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Speers who died in 1980, a daughter, Peggy Sue Hammond and a grandson, D.J. Hammond. Peggy is survived by 4 children, Deborah (Richard) Mulligan, David (Lynn) Hammond, Donna (Michael) Fichter and Daniel (Mary) Hammond, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday 10-11AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
