OBITUARY Magdalena P. Mendez (Nena) July 22, 1931 – November 26, 2018 Magdalena P. Mendez (Nena) went to her eternal reward in heaven peacefully on November 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor D. Mendez. She was a very humble and caring person loved and adored by her entire family and those that knew her. Her generous heart saw no difference in people she knew and those she didn’t. Her contributions to charities were endless as she blessed without expectation. She was known for her love of God and being humble, kind, and respectful. She was a successful business woman whose career began at the age of 16 with the acquisition of Art Beauty Shop downtown which she owned and operated for 44 years. She is survived by her children Victor, David (Susan), Becky (Carlos), and Danny (Carolina), seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We would like to express appreciation to our cousins for their support. Special thanks to Ramona, Isabel and Global Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5-9pm with Vigil at 7pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 9am at St. Joseph Church with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
