Obituary for Larry Haynes James Larry Haynes, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Chris Bohanon, and Rev. Mike Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The Haynes family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the church. James entered into this life on December 29, 1943 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Robert and Rozell Blackwell Haynes. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School, a member of Church of God of Prophecy, and worked as an engineer for twenty-six years. In his spare time, James took a great interest in golf. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Eugene (Grace) Haynes, Louise (Junior) Bowers, Pat (Sandra) Haynes, and sister-in-law, Connie Rushing. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Nell Haynes; children, Jackie (Whit) Vandal, and Lisa Haynes; brothers-in-law, Simon Frey, and David (Carol) Frey; sister-in-law, Rosa (Robert) Deschatelets, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be, Drew Frey, Jay Mitchell, Steven White, Matt Hall, Simon Frey, David Frey. Honorary pallbearers will be, Witt Vandal, Gilbert Morrow, Jerry Bowers, Buster Biggs, Ronnie Denton, Rickey Denton, Marvin Phibbs, and Robert Deschatelets.
