Obituary of Kayla Beane Kayla Beane passed away November 16, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House. Born January 7, 1965 in Lockport she is the daughter of Shirley (Behm) Beane and late Wayne Beane. Kayla was a 1983 graduate from Newfane High School and worked for Niagara County in various positions. She enjoyed cooking and baking, celebrating the holidays, reading, and watching movies. She enjoyed spending time friends and family. Kayla fought a courageous battle with breast cancer, she will always be remembered as a caring, giving person always putting others before herself. Besides her mother, Kayla is also survived by her son Jordan Cunningham; sisters Mary Beth Beane and twin Patricia Beane; nieces Brianna Beane, Trisha Oloo, and Mercedes Clark; her aunt RoseAnn Coffelt; also her devoted cat Pumpkin and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, especially the Cunningham family. The family would like to thank Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Niagara Hospice for the loving care that Kayla received. Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 19th from 2-7 PM with services following at 7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Prayers of Committal will be held at Cold Spring Cemetery Tuesday Nov. 20th at 11 AM. In celebration of Kayla’s life the family requests that you wear red or bright color.
