Obituary for Joshua B. Williams Joshua B. Williams, age 24, of Chuckey, passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at his residence. A native of Pikeville, KY, Joshua is a son of Leslie Keith Williams and Christy Williams Martin. He attended Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and Cherry Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATV’s, working on everything, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Carter. Joshua is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Butler and Kathleen Williams; maternal grandfather: Virgal A. Vandyke; and step-grandparents: Robert and Deltha Sharp. In addition to his parents, Joshua B. Williams leaves behind to cherish his memory: Step-father: Billy Martin; Sisters: Cassandra Hope Perry, Rebecca Chanda Williams, Caitlin Page Gordon; Grandmother: Inez Vandyke Girlfriend: Holly Reed and the Reed family; Son: Carter Isaiah Reed; Step-sister: Jessica Martin; 5 nephews; 2 nieces; Several Aunts, uncles and cousins; Special dogs: Dash, Kimbo and Mercedes. Williams in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 2466 Hwy 107, Chuckey, TN. Reverend Kevin Laws, Reverend Scott Woodby and Reverend Richard Mullin will officiate. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 and will continue until service time at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Those attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 12:00 PM to go in procession. Pallbearers will be notified. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the GoFundMe account in Joshua’s name or to Valley Funeral Home.
