Obituary of Joseph Musa, Jr. Joseph J. “Moe” Musa, Jr., 83, of Bressler, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 in his home. He was a retired Executive Sales Representative for Purolator Courier Corp., a US Army Veteran, a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, Recording Secretary and member of the Friendship Fire Co., Bressler, St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croatian Fraternal Union, St. Mary’s Catholic Club, and the Deutscher Quartet Club. Moe loved his family, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed going to Ocean City, MD, and was an avid Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers football fan. He also enjoyed the many hours he spent bartending at the Friendship Fire Co. Social Club, Bressler. He was the son of the late Joseph J. Musa, Sr. and Mary T. Loncaric Musa. He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Brooks Musa; one daughter, Darby L. Musa of Harrisburg; two sons, Kevin J. Musa of Harrisburg and Brian Kern Musa of Pensacola, FL; one sister, Mary L. Couture of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, Joseph, Paul, Mary, Jesse, Jonathan, Brittany, Sierra and Taylor; one niece and several nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10:30 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Very Rev. David L. Danneker, his Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the rosary at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, 815 South Second St., Steelton, PA 17113.
