John F Sean Daly February 25 1949 November 2 2018 (age 69)

John F. “Sean” Daly Jr., 69, of Eagle Rock, passed away early, Friday morning, November 2, 2018 at his home following a long illness. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, he was the son of the late John F. and Grace (Brand) Daly, Sr. and spent the past six years in Eagle Rock after moving from Succasunna, NJ. Sean grew up in Cedar Grove, NJ and graduated Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Sean was a retired Insurance Investigator for Allstate Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Sheppton. He was also a member of of the Eagle Rock golf, bowling and bocce leagues. He enjoyed genealogy research, history and politics. Surviving are his wife the former Margaret Buirkle to whom he was married for 33 years; a son Michael Daly, McAdoo; a granddaughter Ava; a sister Patricia Cronin, Portland, OR; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Monday at 8pm from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
